Working faithfully with partners to   address deprivation, isolation and   division within our communities

Our team working across the Diocese of Leeds working towards the vision of transforming communities by supporting and enabling faith communities in social  engagement. The following areas of work are key    priorities and areas of expertise.

Parish Community Support

We offer guidance and support to parish churches looking to reflect and develop their community activities. We aim to be a resource, adding capacity and expertise to local efforts and work.

Community Building - Near Neighbours

We support and develop community leaders, bring people together in communities that are religiously and ethnically diverse and inform and inspire decision makers at regional and national levels with regard to the needs of grassroots communities.

Social Inclusion

We address social isolation in urban and rural areas, helping to build connections and sense of belonging. We support a growing number of Places of Welcome across the Diocese, including Warm Spaces over this winter.

Anti Modern Slavery

Wellsprings Together is supporting parishes in raising awareness of the various forms of exploitation that exist today in both urban and rural areas.
