Racial Justice

Racial Justice

Wellsprings Together are commissioned to support the delivery of the Church of England’s racial justice strategy, From Lament to Action. Through a collaborative framework with the Anglican Diocese of Leeds, we help deliver Racial Justice initiatives as part of the Advancing Engagement Strategy.

Our work is centred on building stronger, more inclusive communities where everyone feels seen, valued and heard. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Embedding racial justice, belonging and intercultural awareness across diocesan and parish life
  • Strengthening grassroots engagement between church and community through trusted partnerships
  • Amplifying GMH/UKME voices in leadership, governance and ministry
  • Co-creating safe spaces for dialogue, reconciliation and mutual learning
  • Using creative arts, research and community storytelling to deepen understanding and challenge prejudice

We believe meaningful change happens through listening, collaboration and shared action, and we are committed to supporting churches and communities on this journey together.
