Meet Pam

Pam Grimshaw has been connected with Wellsprings Together since March 2023 and has recently joined the team to support parishes in their community outreach primarily to young people.

Pam has lived and worked across Bradford for the last 19 years having roles and freelanced in various third sector, people-focused organisations and charities and has spent the last 6 years working for Urban Saints. She also works part time at HMP Styal in Manchester as their Free Church chaplain and is the founder of Creative Faith CIC.

Pam's background is in pastoral care alongside young people and local communities.

She says: "I do spin many plates, but as I work hard, I do make time for play too! I love to walk my dog, Bodey at Ogden Waters and we often travel to North Wales for the beaches and to see family. I love spending time with friends, DJ nights out, music and good food. I have an infectious laugh which comes out through everyday life.

"I have a deep passion for people especially those who have experienced significant adversities in life.

"The paraphrase of Luke 15:1 is my point of reference to being like Jesus, "By this time a lot of men and women of questionable reputation were hanging around Jesus, listening intently. The Pharisees and religion scholars were not pleased, not at all pleased. They growled, “He takes in sinners and eats meals with them, treating them like old friends.” and I love the words of theologian, Dallas Willard, 'Discipleship is the process of becoming like Jesus as if He was you.'

"One of my favourite books is 'Love Does' by Bob Goff.

"I do love a good hospital drama, some of my favourites have been Grey's Anatomy and New Amsterdam.

"I would love to go to Iceland to experience the healing pools, enjoy the nature and the Northern Lights.

"Looking forward to getting to know you all."
